Pay for the companies you watch.
Plans are priced by how many companies you monitor, because that is the number that grows with your business. The free tier watches five companies with no payment details. Everything above that is a straight line: more companies, more people who can see them, the audit trail export, and unlimited customer due diligence notes.
Every plan covers every country in the coverage table. We do not put countries behind a higher tier.

Why the price per company falls.
Because it costs us less per company as you add more, and pricing that hides this is how tiers end up feeling arbitrary. The number is the same one you can work out yourself:
| Plan | Companies | Per company |
|---|---|---|
| Monitor | 50 | €0.98 |
| Comply | 250 | €0.60 |
| Shield | 1,000 | €0.45 |
One avoided bad debt pays for years of this. We mention that not as a sales line but because it is the only sensible way to think about the price: monitoring is cheap, and finding out late is not.
What the free tier is for.
It is not a demo. Five companies checked weekly, with the same data, the same sources and the same alerts as every paid plan — enough to monitor the handful of customers or suppliers whose failure would actually hurt you. Plenty of people will never need more than that, and that is a reasonable outcome for both of us.
What you do not get on the free tier is the audit trail export. That is the deliberate line: monitoring tells you something today, and the export is what answers an inspector two years from now. If you need evidence, you need a paid plan — and if you do not, you should not be paying us.
Questions about billing.
What counts as a monitored company?
One company under active monitoring, counted once no matter how many times we check it or how many alerts it generates. Stop monitoring a company and the slot frees up immediately — you are not billed for a peak you have moved on from.
What is the difference between a check and monitoring?
A check is a one-off lookup when you onboard someone: identity, status, ownership where available, and a sanctions screening. Monitoring is the ongoing part. The free tier includes 25 checks a month; paid plans do not meter them.
What is a due diligence note?
The written customer due diligence record an obliged firm must keep under anti-money-laundering rules: who the customer is, who owns it, what the screening found, why the relationship exists, and which risk class you assigned and why. EntityWatch writes it from the official register, proposes the risk class from stated rules, and you approve it. The signed version lands in the audit trail. Free and Monitor include one note a month; Comply and Shield do not meter them.
What happens when I reach my limit?
Nothing breaks and nothing is silently billed. You are told you have reached the limit and offered the next plan. Existing monitoring keeps running — we do not stop watching companies you have already added because you tried to add one more.
Can I change plan mid-month?
Yes, in the app, in both directions. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
Do you charge more for some countries?
No. Every plan covers every country in the coverage table. Where a country is missing it is because we cannot obtain the data, not because it sits behind a higher tier.
How does VAT work?
Prices exclude VAT. EU business customers with a valid VAT number are invoiced under the reverse charge; Danish customers are charged Danish VAT.
How do I cancel?
In the app, without writing to anyone. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you can export your audit trail on the way out — it is your evidence, not our leverage.
